Manual seat adjuster 2024 Sport -- seat sinks down!

sadly my 24 sport came equipped with manual seat adjuster...in particular when raising ("pump lever") the seat.
i was hoping to set it and forget it,but if I dont drive it for a day or so the seat sinks down! Malfunction or expected?

My Sport came with electronic seats. I thought 'what's the point'? I'm the only one driving it, once I set it, that's it. What I didn't realize is that the power seats have so much more positions than manual. As far as your 'pump', if it's the same type of system as the lumber setting on mine, mine never varies unless I touch the control. I would say yours's is defective.

I have seen other posts about this same problem. I have the manual seats in mine and have no issues with it changing at all. It is a brand new truck, I would try to get that fixed under warranty.

I have the same issue with my SR5, dealer said the height adjust is part of the seat rails now, and that they have the part on order and will be replacing it.

Ill keep you updated how I make out. I'm waiting for the 5K mile service visit and having them also do an oil change while it's there. The rep said they will take care of everything in one go and toss me in a loaner car for the day.

I have this same issue on my TRD OR, I always have to pump it every day before I drive. I will definitely bring it up when I bring it to the dealership for maintenance.

you find out what the problem is let me know. I’ve had nothing but issues with the seat, the door and the seatbelt and I only have 700 miles on my truck.

Many have experienced the same with the manual seat height adjustment. Some, including myself, found that when getting in or out we were sliding across the hand and subsequently lowering it a little at a time.

I’ve been meaning to post and ask about this so I’m glad I found this thread. What I have noticed is at some point while I’m driving I realize the rearview mirror needs adjustment. So for me, it doesn’t happen like while I’m driving that I’m aware of, it’s just at some point the cumulative slow sinking of the seat. Makes me realize I need to pump it up a couple of Clicks. Was going to ask if other people were experiencing this so but it sounds like they are. I guess at the next service level I’ll bring it up and have them fix whatever it is that’s going on. One thing for sure is that it’s not because I hit the lever going in and out of the truck.

Wish this wasn’t the norm for me. I’ve taken my 2025 in three times and again this Wednesday for the fact that the seat moves changes makes noises cracks and pokes me in the back. The manual seats in these trucks are real cheap and made really sloppy.
