Loving the clean and minimalist look of the 703s. Went with the SL rated Open Countries and they’re nice a comfortable for daily driving. They do have a bit of a hum at highway speeds but it’s not terrible. Going from 60lb Wildpeaks on my 2nd gen to these is a big difference.

Yea +35. Wanted to try and avoid as many rocks to the body as possible. Hoping some decent aftermarket mud flaps are available soon.

Yep, this is taco number 14 for me, I ran negative offset on my last two and did PPF on the rear but still got chips. The flairs even in stock form always got chipped. I couldn't imagine you'd have too much of an issue but did see even with stock tires and wheels guys are getting pretty dinged up.

Looks great. I've been looking at that exact tire/size; need to to pull the trigger. How much, if at all, do you feel the extra weight vs stock BFGs?

You can feel it a bit going over big bumps, the extra weight pulling the suspension down. It’s not bad tho. It was much worse with my 2nd gen Tacoma running Wildpeaks.

In regards to power, it’s barely noticeable. It might actually feel a little more natural as it causes the truck to linger in the torque curve a bit longer. I think that’s a mix between being little taller and heavier. Still feels like it has plenty of power and is easy to drive in traffic and on the highway.

I know this is an older post, but I'm considering this set up. I read somewhere that the AT3s have two different sidewalk options, one being more aggressive. Are your tires the less aggressive side out?

Looks great. Getting my black 2025 TRD Sport Premium tomorrow. Ordered 2.5 SST Ready Lift kit, black Method 703 +35 and Falken Wildpeak 285 70 17 which will get installed this week. Will post before and after pics. This will be my 4th Tacoma. Just sold my 2016 TRD Sport Sunday.

Only LT and Flotation versions of the Toyo AT3 have the more aggressive sidewalls

Is there a reason other than looks to change the wheels? I want to put these tires on but would like to stick with the stock wheels for cost purposes..

Which mud flaps did you end up going with? Have you seen these lower profile ones from Ark?
Ark splash guards

I still have the original 265/70/17 BFGoodrich All Terrain T/A tires w/ +55 offset on my 2025 Off Road. The splash guards do a decent job with deflecting rocks, but having a set of rock sliders that are the step style (i.e., Westcott Designs), they'll deflect the rocks away better than mud flaps. Just what I observed after installing on my truck.

And weight which does really matter, but don’t blow the extra money unless it’s something really important to you. You can totally stick with your stock wheels.
