I’ve narrowed my tire search down to two different Load C 35" tires. I’m evaluating the impact of MPG to make a final decision.
Is there a way to determine the projected mpg of these two tires? Hoping a generous physicist or engineer might know a calculation…
2024 Tacoma TRD OR, non hybrid
Currently stock suspension but will do a 2.5 inch lift and new UCAs
Wheels: 17” Nomad Sahara 0 Offset - 27.8lbs
Tire 1: Toyo RT PRO - 35x12.5 r17 Load C - 66 lbs
Tire 2: BFG K03 35x11.5 r17 Load C - 61 lbs (BF Goodrich has confirmed they are being released in May)
How much of a difference will 5lbs of unsprung mass on my mpg?
