Well, I had a big whole right up almost done and somehow the webpage reloaded all by itself and I lost everything so I am going to try and recreate it again.
I finally took delivery of my TRD Pro today after waiting for it for almost 10 months. I finalized the order on 23 July 2024 and waited for my dealership to get an allocation for one. I didnāt hear anything positive until right around Christmas time that they had one and had it specād out exactly like I wanted and I was pumped to finally be getting it. The next day the dealership called me to tell me that another dealership had pulled it out from underneath them and took it. To say I was upset is an understatement. At this point I was wondering if I was ever going to get one. Around mid March, I got a call that they had one and it was reserved in my name and I was locked in for this one as there wasnāt anyway it could be taken from me. I could finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. I got the temporary VIN so I could find out when the build was suppose to happen and started getting weekly updates from the dealer on the progress of the truck. It seemed like a pretty smooth transition from that point on as at least I kind of knew when to expect it. The process at the dealership took a little longer than expected as the salesman I had been working with wasnāt there as it was his day off so they gentleman they had helping me was with someone else when we arrived so I had to wait about an hour before I could start the process which went fairly smooth once it started. Doubled checked everything before I left to make sure I had all the AUX pig tails, hitch pin, cleats for the rail system in the bed, First Aid kit and all the other small things that came with the truck.
I also want it to be known that I used a broker for this truck and I have to say that the $1,000 I spent on them was well worth it as I didnāt have to waste any time calling around to dealers and haggling the price and getting things removed I didnāt want. I got the truck exactly like I wanted it and didnāt pay a dime more for anything for add ons or fees. I got the truck at MSRP + Spray in bed liner, Integrated Dash Cam and Bed Scene Lighting. The only other option I was on the fence about was the white/amber fog lights but I didnāt find out about them until after the build was already finalized and I also wasnāt too sure how much I would actually use the amber function of the lights and the extra $700 I think they cost.
I plan on updating this thread as often as I do things to the truck and so far these are the mods I have on hand and will be doing very soon.

After I got her home and drove a bit I was finally able to wash her up as I didnāt have the dealer do anything except what had to be done as I didnāt want them to scratch it washing it or add anything to the truck that I would just need to strip off later. I plan on giving it the whole treatment this weekend and get everything decontaminated and protected. Here are some pictures just after the wash.
My first impressions of the truck are very good so far. It is a hoot to drive and I really enjoy the exhaust note even if it is fake to some extent. I also enjoy hearing the turbo spool up which I can hear every so often. I was also happy that it fits in my garage just fine even with our Palisade, itās definitely a little tighter in there but not bad at all. Iām really looking forward to soaking all of this in over the next few weeks and getting it dialed in to how I like it. Iām still learning how to get into the truck without hitting the steering wheel but Iām sure that will come with time. Other than that I plan on reading the owners manual so I can get to know the truck more and how everything operates.
Iām sure I will be adding more thoughts to this thread as things come up and I remember stuff, itās been a full day to say the least.
