Hi there. I'm buying a new roof rack for my 2024 TRD Off Road. I'm torn between the base Prinsu Rack and the Cali Raised roof rack. The Cali Raised is on sale right now so I want to pull the trigger soon. Are there any other racks you would recommend? Thank you for any help.

RCI is my choice. It’s the only one that curves/contours to the windshield roofline. I have one and it works great

I’m a fan of Küat’s DEK roof top platform the with DiodeDynamics lights…but I’m running the Küat IBEX bed rack.

Prinsu is also on sale. I was able to get mine last year under $500. Holding up great and works for my needs. When it’s not loaded with camping or fishing stuff there’s not a huge difference in terms of wind noise.

I have a Martin Off-road roof rack, love it, would’ve bought a Sherpa but those guys were like, “…naw we’re focused on gen 3s no need to design further for the gen 4s” it’s a shame too because their factory is 20min away from me.

Go Martin OR if you need camper/RTT integration or something custom - those guys cut a XL spoiler on my kit as well.

When did you buy last year that it was under $500?

I guess I meant 2024 but bought from a drop ship site Black Friday plus a coupon code.
Shipping took 2 months but I wasn’t in a rush. Came out to like $480. Couldn’t pass up on the deal

Anybody tried Westcott Designs? Any opinions?
I have a Westcott roof rack. When I first installed it, I did not notice, but it was touching the top rear of the cab in my truck. Apparently it was enough that it scratched it. I did not like the mounting option that they provided. I contacted RCI Off-road and purchased four of their rubber mounting feet. Use those in place of the Westcott mounts. Not only did it seal off from any water, but it lifted the rack just enough to keep it off the top of my truck. I put in some extra assurance, I guess you could say and used some rubber trim from Amazon along the bottom of the rack. Pictures included.
other than the above mentioned, I’ve had no issues with it. Although Westcott claims no wind noise, I have noticed some both before and after the rubber feet mount. The only other drawback is every time you want to mount something in the cross bars you have to undo the crossbar in order to put anything in it or use those drop in nuts. Prinsu , I believe has openings that allow you to drop in bolts etc. if I had it to do over I might go prinsu pro just because they seem to have a lot of accessories/options in terms of mounting lights, etc. for their rack.
