Has anyone used an inner bearing or slide hammer inner bore bearing puller to remove/replace needle bearing?

From what I hear the needle bearing eventually has issues if the CV angle changes from a lift. It's apparently a known thing.

I was thinking about doing the same thing at the same time i upgrade to Dobinson springs as a preventative measure. Watching to see if anyone else shares any experience on it.

We did ours. I bought the kit to remove the needle bearing and used a socket to install it.
We have Dobinson 2" springs and 37" tires. Works great!

Who did the re-gearing where did you find the gears for this truck specifically per the 4.88?
