Just curious if anyone’s noticed what appears to be clear coat peeling from their factory-installed Rigid fog lights? I was drying my front bumper after a wash yesterday and noticed what I thought was leftover bug guts - but appeared to be peeling. When I rubbed a little harder, more continued to peel away. Curious if anyone else has noticed this or had this issue? I’ll post a photo later to show

I wonder if they left the "protective film" on the lights after installation at the factory? I have no idea if they come that way or not just a shot in the dark to explain what's going on until we get the pictures.

No idea, but I had rigid pods on my 2nd gen moons ago and the powder coat didn’t hold up to the east coast Canada winters for long, they looked pretty hurtin after a few years, I’m expecting the same with these

Hey I just saw this thread and I posted about this as well. Did you ever figure out if this was normal or did you go to the dealership to get it fixed/looked at?

I just dropped my truck at the dealership today for this issue. Will let you know what comes of it. Hopefully they just replace them and move on. Ironically enough, Rigid is located about 20 minutes from me.

Just as an update: The dealership did send photos of these to their rep and had them warrantied out, so replacements are on the way (5-7 days), and they said should be 3-4 hours time to install them. So if anyone else is having this issue, take your truck in and have them warrantied.

Yeah I took mine in a month ago and only now are they getting the part. I’ll keep you posted on how they do!

It's a pain in the ass how they have the fogs now. You have to take the entire front end off to get the facia off that they're mounted behind. Made the mistake off not aiming mine (after market) correctly and now I have to take the front off for like the 4th time to fix them lol
