Looking to get thoughts on this: I want to lift the truck and put new shocks and UCAs on, however, the Bilsteins I want aren’t available yet and may not be for a while. I was planning on pairing the lift with the TRD Pro wheels with the 265 70 r18 wheels. In the meantime does it make sense to just buy the new wheels and tires and put them on and then do the suspension lift later? I have an OR and it’s a DD. I don’t do any serious off-roading but just want the stance of a moderate lift. Should I wait to do it all at once or do the wheels and tires now and then the suspension later?

To actually answer your question, I would do what you can afford now and the rest later. The tire size you're looking at will fit the stock suspension without issue so if that's all you can afford now, I'd do the tires and wheels and wait on the suspension. Who knows, you might find that you don't need/want the suspension mods once you see the new combo. You can always do the suspension later and enjoy the look of the wheels/tires now.

Also, I'm not sure what your definition of a moderate lift is but if you're not hard core offroading and just want a couple of inches I don't think I would spend the money on a full suspension refresh. The stock OR suspension is plenty capable so just put some spacers on and call it a day. Now, if you want more than that then you probably do want a suspension kit, but if you did something crazy like that 6" lift (it doesn't sound like that's what you're planning) then you might find that the 33" tires you're looking at might look a bit like your truck missed out on leg day.... ;o)

I have a limited and there are no lifts available. After research on youtube, I went with fuel rebel 18x9 +20 offset. 285/65r18 is 32.6" tall. No rubs no modifications. Trd sport, trd offroad and limited are taller than sr5. Trd pro and trailhunter are about 1.5" above those 3 models. Depending what model you have and what size tire you want determines if have to do lift first.

You will eventually get both haha.

Probably wheels and tires first that would accommodate the lift too so about 33"s.
