Service advisors know less than the least knowledgeable person on this forum ….just my 2 cents .

Thanks for the update. Interested to hear if anything more comes of it.Ok first off, anytime I say something on this topic people seem to think I’m saying the service advisor is a master mechanic. To be clear, I know the advisor is just the messenger and sometimes they get the message wrong. But I don’t get to talk directly to the mechanics or the engineers.
Having said that, I got my truck back today. About two weeks sooner than previously thought. So yay for that.
They replaced the mass airflow sensor and the air filter. But Toyota was heavily involved with the repair and they aren’t 100% sure it’s permanently fixed. They think the snorkel may need some alterations before it’s fully resolved.
Do with this info what you want.
