Random long beeeeeeep???

So i was changing the oil this evening and encountered an interesting situation im trying to understand. I needed to get something from my cargo box on top of the rack and it seemed like when i was rocking the truck around from standing on the side steps it started emitting a BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP sound for like 5 seconds.

The fob was in the car.
No doors or windows were down.
The hood was open.

It wasnt a one off because it did it twice 10 mins later when i went back up to put the item back, Again climbing on the side step and bouncing the truck a little bit while opening\closing my cargo box,

As soon as a i got down and started walking around to the driver side to get the key fob in case it wouldnt stop, it stops.

Any idea what that situation is that causes this?

With the fob in the truck, did you happen to touch the drivers or passenger door handle?

Hmmm. I guess thats a possilbilty my jacket was sitting on top of the handle somehow. But definitely not my hand or anything obvious touching it. ill have to try to reproduce.

I think that may be the "you left your fob in the car" warning beep.

With the fob in the truck, did you happen to touch the drivers or passenger door handle?

I also think this may be the case.

If the door handle is touched with the fob in the truck, it won't lock the fob inside and beeps the long warning beep. That's easy to duplicate and confirm.

Was the truck wet, I know when I wash mine, it will randomly beep when the key fob is in the truck and I am near the handle?

Interesting. It was residually wet yes.

Or when i’m washing the truck with the key card in my pocket and every time the hose sprays on the door handle the truck locks and unlocks‍
