RB10 Slim boards? Best Sleek/Slim boards / sliders with steps

Need a set of sliders with steps or slim boards anyone have pics of the RB10 slim , for some reason the rb20 slim seems in some pics to be flush and some to have a gap.
Not sure how big the OEM TRD aluminum ones are but boy they’re expensive

the trumgeta 5” seem nice but cheap and no pictures.

need some protection for the truck lots of bad roads in my area gravel dirt etc

noticed the Fab Four rock sliders with steps look exactly like what I’m looking for but $1500 is ridiculous

I have the RB20 slims and there is definitely a gap. The RB10s seem to use the same mount so there is likely a gap there too.

The first thing you need to decide is do you want steps or rock sliders? Rock sliders can act as steps but if you try to make your steps into rock sliders, you're in for a bad time. There's a reason actual sliders are expensive.

The RB20 slims do an OK job of keeping rocks from chipping the rear panel. The biggest improvement I made though was a set of the ARK mudflaps. I went with the full size. Do they look cool? No, but they do keep the truck protected.

I will never buy anything from Trumgeta. There was a post a while back on here about them not warrantying anything bought from their official Amazon store that they kept replying to and making themselves look worse and worse. It got deleted because they're a sponsor.

I've always used Tacomas as work trucks and never was on the forums and into them as a truck guy so to speak - so maybe I am missing something when searching - is there any rockslides that are slim and don't stick out too much but also protect the doors from dings and have steps (even if thin and small) integrated
