I designed a few different camera visors to hopefully help keep rain drops off of the rear-view camera lens. I am posting two of the 3D printer files here. One is a visor that has a little hood over the lens. It snaps in the hole and has stayed put for me, so far. There is a little vignetting at the top. It doesn't' seem to affect rear cross traffic alerts or give any other types of alarms. Still, use at your own risk. The second is more of a ring with no visor but it does extend past the lens, so I am hoping that it is all it takes to keep rain drops off. Still, it hasn't rained here so I am not sure how effective either design is. Let me know if either works for you.

Definitely keep us posted if it works or not. I figured a lot of it is road spray not falling rain, so I’m not sure if a hood will help.

UPDATE: Back to the drawing board! It rained pretty good overnight here last night and when I got to work and put the truck in reverse. it was just as bad as without the visor. I wish I had checked before I headed out (I back in so I didn't think to put it in reverse before I drove to work). So it does seem that the most likely culprit is road spray.
