I purchased the Chinese knock-off several months ago. It works, but the struts must have been designed for a 60's Lincoln (with a monster hood) - way too powerful. I have to keep my hand on hood to keep it from "snapping" open. Worried about potential damage. Ya get whatcha pay for.........g

Hello guys… will these shocks help with hood shake on the Pros?

I had the hood struts on hand and ready to go when my truck arrived so I barely drove it before installing them but I have not noticed any if at all hood shake like others have reported on mine. I could definitely see them helping with that issue though as they are nice to have.

I am using the chrome premium strut version along with my Cali Raised "Ditch Light Mounting Brackets For 2024+ Tacoma" on my 2024 Tacoma TRD Pro. Original bolts worked fine.
