Has anyone regeared the 4th gen tacoma and if so what parts did you use? I've been trying to do it but not kits are currently available.

BREAKING NEWS: R4T is regearing 2024+ Tacomas!!! They mentioned this a few days ago on their YouTube chanel. See minutes 12:05 until the end.

In the description they mention they are doing 4.88s from Revolution Gears. I also called them to confirm and they said they are in fact performing regears now. Here is the link to the R4T regear website: https://runnin4tacos.com/products/rev...

I will be regearing with these guys as soon as I save some money. Adding low end torque through regearing to my non-hybrid and with 37s will be a game changer on the trail!!! The only thing better than this would be getting portals but I ain't spending $20k+ for that.

Thanks for the link. I called revolution gears last week. They said they don't have any official gear kits for the 4th gen tacoma yet but expect to release some in about a month or so. I live in California so too far to have r4t do the work otherwise I'd definitely hit them up.

An SR5 should be able to use OE SR MT gears. Going from the 3.583 gears to 4.3 is 20%. Not sure if it's been done, or if the parts are even available.
