Removing HUD bezel?

Id like to know if anyone removed the bezel of the HUD. I get a really bad glare from it and want to paint it a dark black or some other non reflective color.

Need to know if its just clipped in or if it requires something other than prying up on it to get it out. Pictures or a parts diagram would be much appreciated.

Hi Chip, did ever you find out how to remove it? I want to do the same with a piece of dark flat black vinyl or something. Plus mine squeaks and I wanted see if I could fix that too

I assume it pulls up (maybe with the help of a trim tool) but would hate to pull the wrong direction and damage it or the dash.
