Stock just looked cartoonishly small to me

I'm so happy with my decision to put the 33s on and my gas mileage is still about 20-21 combined per tank, without the air dam and with steel skid plates

Alright boys we're back with something cool: FIrst 4th gen on 6112s / 6100s!

I'll keep this really short: They are very, very fucking good shocks. They will be the gold standard for 4th gen tacomas, it's that simple. Plush, compliant, planted. Everything you want. I thought I wanted dual speed adjusters. I think these will be perfect. I couldn't set up a shock better than this if I tried.

Previous ride height: 21" all around

Now:
24.75" rear (Dobinsons 817v)
23" front

MPG seems to be improving with rake restored. Truck seems more agile, engine seems less stressed, it just fits and feels like a glove. I am so fucking stoked with this setup, 12/10 can't recommend enough.

This is setting 5 I believe, 2.2" lift. Theres two higher circlip settings on these shocks, #6 at 2.5" (for non hybrid) and #7 which is only for higher weight loads

Found a set of Cali Raised sliders essentially new on marketplace for a grand.

Super easy install with good props. Hardest part was undoing the trailhunter rock rails. I messed up and left the top bolts in the tight squares as the last bolts holding the first side up... It took about five minutes of wrenching a few mm at a time to pull a single bolt lol.

Quite surprised at the small weight difference between the TRD rock rails and these. Only a 7lb difference (49 rock rails 56 cali raised). Cali raised seemingly cheaped out on the bolts. They look like tiny little shits compared to the toyota bolts.
