I have the base model cloth seats and find them very comfortable. My preference is to sit high in the cab and adjust the seat accordingly. What I’m finding is that over a period of time (7-10 days) the seat “leaks down” and requires readjusting.

First Tacoma I’ve experienced this in. Anyone else having a similar experience?

Likely a warranty issue but difficult for dealership to verify

Ok. I thought I was going crazy. Mine does the same thing. I use the lever that moves the seat height up and after about a week it’s back down at the bottom. I was considering asking the dealership but it seemed nuts. Definitely bringing it up now.

There is a YouTube video from Robmotive that says he tested and found he is accidentally adjusting his he height.
Yes, he found out that every time he gets out of the truck he is hitting the handle and it causes the seat to go down a little each time after a few times of getting out he then notices that the seat has gone done. This is on the manually adjusted seats.

Robmotive may have identified the cause. My truck has a 2.5” lift so it’s a bit of a reach to the ground. When I slide out of the seat today I paid attention and my thigh is depressing the handle!

My seat sinks while I am on the rocks or washboard roads. Constantly needing to raise my seat back up.
