Hey everyone, wanted to share a quick heads-up on an upcoming induction component we’re developing at SXTH Element Engineering for the 2024+ Toyota Tacoma (N400).

We’ve been working through airflow improvements on the Gen 4 platform, and one of the first standalone pieces we’re bringing to market is our Turbo Inlet. It’s currently in the coming soon phase, but we wanted to give the community an early look.

What It Is

This turbo inlet is a direct bolt-on replacement for the factory inlet, designed to reduce restriction and improve airflow into the turbo. The goal is to smooth the airflow path compared to the OEM piece, which should help with turbo response and overall efficiency once installed.
Coming Soon - 2024+ Toyota Tacoma Turbo Inlet – SXTH Element

Key Features

  • Enhanced airflow through optimized internal geometry to reduce turbulence
  • OEM fitment using factory mounting points and sensors
  • Durable, high-temperature materials designed for under-hood conditions
  • Black finish that integrates cleanly into the engine bay
Why You Might Want It

The factory turbo inlet prioritizes NVH and packaging, which often means compromises in airflow. This inlet is designed to remove some of that restriction while maintaining OEM-level fitment and reliability, especially for those planning intake or turbo-related upgrades.

Current Status

This product is still in development and listed as coming soon. No dyno data or release dates to share yet, but we wanted to put it on your radar as we continue finalizing production.

More details to come as things progress.

Different piece.

This one goes from charge tube to the throttle body.
It's a super pain in the BUTT to get to this one last fastener of the 4 on it too.
So if I am going through all that to change 1 more piece, I will choose to save another 5k, and change the intercooler, and all the pipes l, along with the turbo, tune, and add a tranny cooler.
After I finish cutting up the rear of the truck for a major upgrade in the spring I pray by summer I will go after the engine.
One thing I know is at this point in my life (56 and retired), I have made enough good choices throughout life to be able to, buy, and build my truck without debt.

I have done it the other way, building my first 1983 SR5 Toyota monster, going into debt as a young man, and worked a lot of my life away too pay for.
I DON'T RECOMMEND DOING IT THIS WAY.

I’m in the exact same boat. At the cusp of turning 52, I’ll retire in a year and a half shortly after turning 53. Ill be able to play and mod this truck at will without going into debt.

At the risk of sounding old and showing signs of wisdom, ( because I knew everything in my 20s )
I wish I would have listened to everyone, save your money too pay for your mods out-of-pocket, instead of going into debt to work your life away and not be able to enjoy.
