T24A-FTS 2.4L COMPLETE ENGINE TEAR DOWN

I'm sure I'm missing something, but if this was a human error, why not warranty claim? Also, I must have missed it, but noted the very simple chain driven timing system, however I failed to see where the oil pump was. It doesn't appear to be driven off the front of the crank, nor did I note any sprocket/chain associated with it, only the oil galleys with the oil cooler/filter assembly.

Oil pump on the T24 is driven off the balance shaft directly via metal (polymer coated) gears. It's the large part under the crankshaft that kind of looks like a twin scroll supercharger. Overall a very robust design IMO

Yes I see it now, right around the 10:15 mark in the video. I've not gone further, yet in the video but thanks for the heads up on that. Was confusing me a bit.
