Tail light popped off off roading

I was off roading and my passenger tail light popped off along with the connectors. I've been searching online for a replacement parts and the only thing I could find was part #82177-AK030. I talked to toyota parts they couldn't confirm it would truly be what I need. I'm no mechanic but want to do this myself to save money. Any suggestions would be very much appreciated. Thanks.

Warranty as far as I’m concerned. Tail lights do not pop off on 4wd trucks when I’m off road. Although until now I’ve only had experience with Dodge and GM trucks.

Dang, that sucks. I would use this calamity as a splendid excuse to upgrade.

Truth! Already ahead of you. Ordered Alpharex headlights and tail lights. Going back on the trail today to see if I can find it, just so I can reconnect the harness.

So much for saving money!

Saved me 400 from what the dealer wanted for the complete wiring setup. A good sameritan put it on the side of the road, so was able to get the plastic connectors.
