Is that the Pro version on the Tundra? You should've waited for next year's model...I hear they're gonna have the Iso-D seats (as an option) and given the Tundra's ample rear seat space...there won't be any complaints of these encroaching on rear passengers.

Well… can you at least give us a review vs your Tacoma?
The Tacoma was a good truck no issues or complaints. The only problem that I personally had with it is mine was a manual six speed whenever you’re stopped there’s too short of a distance between first and second so if you’re out at a stop sign and you go to take off Literally before you reach the other side of the street you’re already shifting it the second that was the only issue I had with the taco we build it up like we wanted and enjoyed the hell out of it nothing negative to say about it. Because the only other negative thing is what everybody is going through can’t stand the new radio that it has to hook up to your phone as opposed to years ago you could do the maps stand alone on the radio. I don’t like the fact that the vehicle does not have its own map without the use of a phone. I guess I’m old school.
Always curious what the Pro Tundra fuel economy is. Are those factory treads?

so far 17 MPG,
No previous owner installed them.

OP, congrats on your Tundra. Enjoy in good health. I’ve owned 2 of the current genā€˜s and they are powerful, comfortable, and ride very nice.

I let my last one go in 2024 due to the engine issue concerns. It seems the issue was resolved and I have to admit, 20 minutes ago I was looking at the 26’s on Toyota’s website. They just launched incentives too.

I’m not sure how much of a unicorn I have in my SO long bed TRD OR Premium, but I know I’d regret letting it go since ito kind of unique and more importantly paid off.

During 23/24, there was a steady stream of reports of 22/23 Tundra’s with failed engines, mostly around or by 28k miles. It’s almost 2026 and I’m not reading about any model year 24 or 25’s failing on the websites I keep tabs on. So it’s antidotal and not definitive, and as I said, it appears that they solved the problem as many thousands of 24’s and some 25’s would have exceeded 30k miles by now. If it was still a major issue, we’d still be frequently hearing about it.
