Im trying decide between
315/70r17 c load +25 offset on 17x8.5 vs
295/70r17 I think they only have E load for most At’s and also 0 offset 17x8.5
I also commute pretty good amount but I want that aggressive look if an off roader and want look cool factor.
Also trying trying look best color wheel for a blue crush trd offroad

I've tried bronze and machined on blue crush (couple examples below). Can't speak to the tire size you're considering as I don't need anything that big. It's worth it to consider something in SL if you're commuting and not off roading much.

With zero offset you will have to trim considerably more than +25.
+20 to +35 is the sweet spot get the gen 4. I don’t think you’ll notice much difference between E/C load in those tire sizes.

255 80 17 +20 and Black Rhino has a ton of wheels to choose from.

I put black 17x8.5 zero offset wearing 285/70x17 on mine, needed removal of mudflaps and different fender flares because of the "poke". Didn't need to do any cutting...just BARELY.

Whereas 285/70/17 fits with no issues if you got +25 offset.
