I have a 25 off-road with the factory installed TRD Bilstien lift kit. It’s 2.5 from the factory rides great and I like it. I’m curious if anyone else that has this lift kit has installed a 1/4” top hat spacer or anything similar to get it just a little higher. Wescott Designs has a spacer for just this very thing but I’ve yet to buy it myself. Anyone in my same situation?

Leave it alone and be happy with it.
Don't go complicating things when you already have a factory lift unless you have a true use case for it.

Yeah I know thats the right answer. Just wish it was a little bit higher, but I can live with how it is.

I used to be a huge lift kit person until I drove a stock rubicon (work vehicle) off-road in really difficult terrain. Did great, a lot better than I’d expect.
Now, I’m not saying a lift isn’t better, but I’ve found that it changed my mind about the idea.

now, wheelbase, break over, approach and departure will improve with a higher truck, we all know that. So there are benefits, I’m just saying that in many cases, I’ve changed my mind about what I want given my terrain and use for a truck like this.
If you want to lift it, I’m not saying it’s dumb so long as it’s a suspension lift and you’re not using those silly rubber band mall crawl tires.
just that I think many people underestimate what can be done with a stock height truck with good traction aids.

If I'm being honest, stock is all I need. Stock wheels too.

But look how cool it is 😂

I would leave it as is. Don’t complicate the set up and end up with all kinds of geometry issues, especially with the front end. Also, with increased height people tend to want even bigger tires, which hampers MPG’s and ride quality.

Yeah I'm running 34’s now. Ride quality is fine. I’d say even better than the stock wheels honestly. I was just hoping to bring the front up a smidge. I ll probably just leave it.
