Howdy ladies and gents,
I’m wanting to buy a 4th gen TRD ORP soon, and I’m wanting to do some bigger tires, lift/suspension kits, new wheels. I attached a pic showing the rough draft build. This will be my daily, and I think I’d prefer a firmer or more planted ride, without it being too harsh. I don’t think I’d like a floaty suspension, but I’m not sure. This will be my first truck to own.
I’m open to other opinions here. I’ll probably do 90% street driving with some moderate off-roading. I won’t be doing any rock crawling.
So based on all of that, ChatGPT recommended Bilstein 6112 / 5160. “Chad” (I call ChatGPT this lol), narrowed it down to Bilstein, Eibach Stage 2, and Fox 2.0/2.5.
Chad basically said Bilstein is the sweet spot for budget, and for having a more planted feel without it being too harsh.
Opinions on Bilstein and build? Also has 33s, -10 offset, lift measurements are on the pic too.
I know there are so many options out there for suspensions, but I’m pretty new to this world and would appreciate some insight and feedback.
Also, Chad is recommending the Falken Wildpeak tires as a good happy medium. But I’ve also heard good things on the Nitto Grapplers? Again, I’m a noob with truck tires. I’ve never owned a truck, primarily driven sport sedans.
lastly, I’m open to any opinions on wheels. I’m the type of guy who doesn’t need the absolute best, just a good balance between budget friendly and quality.
thanks!
