But with this camera think of all the money you’ll SAVE by not hitting those rocks you didn’t see! If anything you’re doing her a favor in the long run ?
LOL. That is absolutely true! I haven't hit anything with the Taco so far but my Canyon had more than one encounter with stumps and rocks simply b/c I couldn't see them....

2025 Tacoma TRD Off-Road With Upgrade Package
Hey guys.
I just got the 2025 TRD OR with the Upgrade Package so it has the 14" display but only a backup camera.
After reading your comments, I started looking for OEM cameras that MAY just plug n play.
PVM Camera, Left - 86790-AK040
PVM Camera, Right - 86790-AK050
I think the front camera might be 86790-AK010 or 86790-AK020

It's xmas day so nobody open but I'll call the dealer tomorrow.
They're expensive so I hope they allow returns if I can't make em work.
Probably only buy one to see.
I did go to the "Secret Service Menu" and saw there is a Camera button that is greyed out.
Hoping the system recognizes that a camera has been added.

Did you ever get around to trying this out?

Even if you get the cameras installed, you will need to get the 360 view calibrated - in essence to make sure that the cameras properly overlap to create a seamless 360 degree view. The dealer has a tool for that.

Cameras need to be recalibrated after accidents too, and I think dealers charge quite a bit for that.

The Wolfbox with the forward facing camera view may be the best way to go. They have an option for that.

interesting, but honestly, I don’t mind if the cameras aren’t perfectly aligned. I don’t even particularly want a front facing camera; I just want the mirror cameras to help with parking. The Turing radius and blind spots are so bad for me that parking my Tacoma is more difficult than my 1999 Lx470.

So, you never actually managed to install the cameras? It sounds like you spoke to someone at a dealership about this, did they give you any other information? I’ve been scouring the internet for hours trying to see if this is even possible, it seems like there’s a lot of people with interest in doing this upgrade but I haven’t seen anyone follow through.

Yes - I did spoke to the dealer. They discouraged the idea - it’s apparently next to impossible. The dealer recommended the Wolfbox - but of course they don’t have the side view cameras.

I think the Tacos without the surround view camera can be set to automatically the passenger side mirror to show the curb. My old Tundra did it. Basically, you put the truck in reverse and the mirror adjusts to show the wheel and curb.
