Hello everyone, I have a backcountry trip coming up and just realized my USB ports in the bed are not working. I've checked the 7.5 amp fuse and it's ok. With the truck on I've checked the ports using a working and good cable and have used an air duster to clean the ports. What else should I look at to get these to work?
Thanks!

On a related note, what type of fuse is it? It blew on me several months ago. I took it out meaning to replace it, never did, and now it's lost.

Check if the 120V AC inverter switch on your dashboard (or the bed panel) is turned on to activate power. Inspect the plug connectors behind the bed panel and test with a multimeter to verify voltage (12V). If power reaches the port but your device won't charge, the internal pins might be unseated.

You were absolutely right. The fuse looked intact but once I tested it with my meter I found it was bad. I tried both a regular 7.5a and mini fuse and both worked. The little rubber cover doesn't work with either of those though. The fuse I removed looked different than ay other fuse I've seen. See pic. I'm used to the fuses having longer 'legs' and the ones I tried seem to be fine and all works ok now. Thanks for the help!

I had to walk into autozone and look at all the options to find it. But if you look up what fuses Toyota uses you can then just order some online. I forget what they are called but it’s easily found. Glad it worked out and it saved a bigger headache
