2024 Limited, ~18k miles mostly highway, bought new.
This is my work truck, mostly sees highways, some gravel roads, some fields. Never any extreme terrain, harsh braking, or collisions. Never hit anything on the highway.
A month back, I noticed some pronounced front end vibration that worsened with braking when over 60mph. Seemed like a warped caliper. Dealership checked everything (balanced tires, alignment, etc) and found nothing out of whack. They ended up resurfacing the front rotors which they think were indeed warped. Very strangely, they did this for free (brakes not covered by any warranty), and they didn’t want to talk about any details. Truck seemed fine after this, smooth braking at speed.
Fast forward to this week, the vibrations are back. Checked the rotors, no visible wear, grooves, blueing, etc. I’ve driven maybe 400 miles on the fresh brakes. Again, no unusual use, no riding brakes, etc.
Really surprised and frustrated to be having any issues with brakes on a new truck. Anyone else encountering this issue yet?
