Friends, I am looking for feedback on the Victory 4 x 4 engine cover. Getting ready to buy and was hoping to hear from anyone who already did this install. Any regrets on installing? Any rattles or noises since installation?
I have seen one member that had a tab break off of a support bracket, but they did not follow up since reaching out to Victory. Does anyone have insight on any coupon codes? Thank you in advance for your thoughts.

Is there a function to these or just aesthetics? I know that Jeep took them off the V-6 for heat dissipation. Kinda cool though.

Most will say Aesthetics. Some claim it quieted the injector noise a little. I think it looks cool.
I remember the days of the Moroso dress up kits that were used on muscle cars. Kinda the same thing, I guess.

Great, I pulled the trigger and ordered today based on the positive comments thus far.
Thanks for the feedback.

All good.

Proves the hood scoop is sort of functional with some water marks on the top. Air does indeed get in but it is mostly a vent to let hot air out when stopping.

Thanks for the input. The engine cover really does look good.
I wonder when I changed my oil if I can still use my Motive X Funnel with the engine cover?
It's hard to tell from the pics. Victory 4 x 4 says a funnel can be used but I wonder if that is for a cheaper small funnel. Motive X pic attached.

I've almost ordered a few times. They are cool. Engine will be quite a bit hotter in the summer though. Heat trap.

If I was going to quiet the engine noise I would get one of the hood mats. At least they don't sit right on the engine to trap heat

Don't bother. I bought the OEM hood insulator and it didn't really move the noise needle.

Second that too. I have the OEM insulator and didn't notice any noise reduction. Hoping that it will help the metal of the hood to stay a little cooler. I will monitor the heat with the engine cover.
