Has anyone else seen this yet. Warn just came out with one for the 6th gen 4 runner and 4th gen Tacoma.

I was pretty interested when I saw it and then did a quick search and found that Summit Racing has it online already for $668.99 with free shipping. Well I ordered one. The turn around for shipping is March 3rd. Any thoughts?

Must have been the only one they have because it’s no longer on summit racing. Sad face.

The part number doesn't show up on the Warn site. I'd assume that the 4Runner version would work. The Trailhunter in both the 4Runner and Tacoma are very similar in front of the rear seats.

Is that just the winch mount and not the bumper?
The picture is actually from the Warn website. Just enter in the product # on the warn website and it'll pull it up. Also to answer your question it is not a full replacement for the front bumper. Just the lower mid section. Its similar to the RCI mount.

Unlike the RCI mount, I believe the Warn mount allows you to keep the front skid plate, and you can easily reach the switch on top of the winch. I asked Summit if they knew when it would be available. I assume sometime in March.

Try this. It shows availability to ship on March 9th.
Demand must be going up. They now say March 11th. That said, I have the C4 bumper. Same idea, but certainly not for $700. When I was shopping I found some of these stealth winch bumpers had questionable mounting. I trust Warn to get this right. I would like to see install directions, and more pictures. One complaint I had with my C4 is the cradle didn't fit the Warn 9.5XP. The winch did fit after I swapped the motor from a Warn XD9. Warn suggests the 9.5XP will fit.

Thank you for sharing. Unfortunately, that large maw is something not ideal here in Michigan. Driving in heavy snow, slush, salty messes, that large opening will just get jammed full and be a catch-all. Not ideal if you need to use the winch.

Having had Warn on my JK, I perked up hearing they had one now for Tacoma. I prefer something less open. Plus, just like a window in an airplane, openings like that can serve to weaken the overall structure.

Yeah, I had a Warn on my Gladiator. I never used it to get myself out, but used it on others. Right now I would have to use my high-lift jack. That would take forever, and you're standing right next to the jack and strap. Beheading anyone?

I had a similar thought about the access holes for when I eventually want a winch. But is that not something that a cover plate could be made for? Have it covered when you aren't using it then flip up or remove the plate when you need access?

I had a Gladiator Rubicon and the winch is nearly completely exposed. While I don't live in Michigan or Canada, we get plenty of snow, ice, and rain (not much lately) and single digit temperatures (I live at 5500' in elevation) and never had a problem. Plus with the Warn bumper, much of it is protected, and most winches are IP68 rated to make them nearly waterproof.
I remain interested in the Warn bumper. I've always had a reliable winch with Warn including my 73 CJ-5 with a completely exposed winch on the front bumper.
