What did you drive before your Tacoma?

2013 titan and 2000 frontier standard cab. Got tired of the frontier’s seating position, though it was a great truck. The titan was a good truck but gas mileage was horrendous and there is zero aftermarket for the thing. Felt like a lumbering beast. New suspension probably would have fixed it, but I didn’t want to put any more $ into it.
Had a pile of cars before those 2, but don’t want to try to remember them all.

I still have it and drive it, A 2019 4Runner SR5. It was my first vehicle and was fortunate enough to be able to keep it once I got my Tacoma. Bought it brand new in 2019 once I started working for Toyota and was able to use my employee discount to get a good deal on it. Many modifications have been added to it since as you can tell.

2017 4Runner TRD-OFF-ROAD !!

BMW 2022 S1000rr. Here it is loaded down for a trip from San Jose to San Diego. I went up PCH to get here and took the 5 down. This was my daily.

2016 GMC Canyon long bed, baby diesel. It was a great truck put a 100,000 miles on it in the 10 years I had it. But the diesel wasn’t a big seller so parts were getting hard to find and I just wanted to change. Been eyeing a Taco since I drove my friends 2006 Taco back in 2008. Then the mudbath color came out and found out the off-roads didn’t have the start stop feature and I found a good deal.

2019 Ford Ranger. I loved that truck. I’ve only ever owned Ford trucks (Rangers, F150, f250, and full size Bronco). They were all great trucks. Buddy bought a 4th gen taco and loves it. I drove it and was impressed enough to buy one myself. So far so good. I love my new truck but I also miss some things about my old ranger.

I drove a 2013 Kia Forte coupe before getting my truck. Was great on gas in comparison. Due to my 150 miles of driving every day, I hypermiled that car to 45mpg consistantly. The Tacoma obviously doesn't even compare, so I'm searching for options for fuel tanks, if they EVER hit the market.
