What was wrong with the ones that cover the whole handle? Mine fit great, touch sensor for open/close works the same. What am I missing?
They looked okay, but my sensor would only work about 20% of the time with the card key which I use about 100% of the time. It was frustrating and embarrassing standing next to your truck tapping the door handle about 10 times and nothing would happen. The passenger side seemed to work a little bit better. Yotaverse even acknowledge that the card key probably would not work as well as the fob. What they sent me covers the front of the handle and wraps the two sides front and rear leaving the top and bottles uncovered, giving it a cleaner look. The others looked okay, but after having these, they look much better and not chunky like the original.

Nice! I didn’t see the kind like your describing on their website. Although mine work fine (I don’t use the card key) I think yours look more OEM. I may need to contact them for a replacement.

They look like cheap covers. I had that version originally, and replaced them with the 2-piece covers. Looks a lot better, especially the area around the touch sensor. Hard to tell them from factory with the 2-piece.

I just got my new Tacoma limited yesterday and don't like the Chrome/Plastic wheels. Your setup with the TRD wheels looks good. Would you mind telling me what the tire spec is that you used?

Thanks,

Niels

Stock 265/65/18, the TRD wheels have a different offset then the stock wheels, so you gain a little bit wider stance.

Oh that's great. I noticed that the TRD wheels are 8" wide vs 7.5" stock, so I thought they might require a wider tire. But I'm glad they don't because I'd rather not sacrifice mpg if possible. So now I'll try to find an all weather tire in the stock size since I'm in Canada and it's winter for 5 months. :( I can't get those plastic chrome things off fast enough.

My original pictures are the factory issued tires and TPMS sensors moved over to the TRD rims. I then opted for different center caps. The TRD wheel is 18x8 with a 45mm offset. The Limited wheel is 18x7.5 with a 55mm offset. The vehicle "stance" changes about an inch wider in total.

Switched out the OEM Limited Bright Chrome 18" wheels, center caps, and lugs for the OEM TRD Matte Black wheel, heritage bronze center caps, and matching lugs. I think the heritage caps help it really pops with the body color.

Which means that I now have a full set of the 18" chrome wheels, matching lugs and center caps sitting in boxes next to the actual TRD red/blac

k center caps that I didn't use. Related, I have the shiny chrome side mirror covers with factory PPE also now sitting in boxes. Guess I should take some photos and do some for-sale posts.
If youre willing to buy more shoes I suggest these
