Why can't this truck remember my music source settings???

This problem only occurs randomly, but that alone is more than a little concerning. Right now it is happening every time I start my truck. Almost every time I drive the truck I only use "radio" as my music source. But everytime I get in the truck it starts off by playing some random music from Spotify, which I have on my phone. I can electronically disconnect my phone from the truck, but then I lose everything else. Surely others have been annoyed with this?

My guess would be that either a) you have your phone connected to Bluetooth or b) you have the connected services with the music option (idk what it's called).

If your phone isn't connected to the Bluetooth when you start it up, I'm at a loss.

If so, not sure why it auto-starts Spotify though.

I would imagine that the bluetooth connection takes priority over the other sources (radio) though.

I believe you can go into the audio settings and change it to default to whatever your last source was on start up. In my case, I have it set to automatically start Android Auto

Mine randomly switches from radio to CarPlay while I’m driving. Software glitch.

The problem is likely with your phone setting. If you go into Android Auto settings on your phone and find under android auto locate “Start music automatically” and toggle it off, that might help.

Same here.
I connect via AA.
Even if I set the multimedia system to use "Radio" x tune to my desired channel, the system will randomly either change my channel or change my source (usually to whatever I have listened to last on my phone).
What I want?..... is for the multimedia system to REMEMBER my selection (RADIO) and play the last channel that was playing when the car was turned off. Yes, I still want to have AA auto-start when I get in and turn it on.

My wife has a real hard time with this on her rav4 and I hear it - alot!
