Will these rims fit my OR Hybrid with as close to non-pokey offset as the factory rims?

Method Race Wheels 703 Matte Black 17x8.5" 6x5.5", 35mm offset 6.2" Backspace, MR70378560535

I have no plans or desires for a lift. Wanting to keep as close to factory rim offset as I can…cause I drive gravel and don’t want the tires throwing rocks at the sides. What size tires would look be good? 285? SL would be ideal 🤩!

1 inch wider wheel and 20mm more offset. The outer edge of the rim by itself will be pushed out 1.3 inches. So yes you will be slinging gravel 🫣. Looks like you have some decent wide running boards that should catch most but not all. I have 17x8.5 +35 wheels with 285/70/17, rockslides Ark mud flaps, and rough country flares. I also put a lot of miles on gravel roads, some rocks are going to get by no matter what you do! Hind sight I would have gone with a 255/80 or 85 r17 tire. This picture is with factory flares.

I have method 305s with a +25 offset. There is a little poke. I put on nytop fender flares because they stick out more than the oem ones and seem to be doing a good job of keeping the rocks at bay. I also have Westcott designs rock sliders. They act as a step for my wife and because they have a kick out and are flat they probably help deflect as well. I think I read somewhere that the trailhunter wheel offset was +20 but those trucks have a wider fender flare as well. I don’t know what the off-road oem wheel offset is but if you can find that out and get a wheel with the same offset then according to tire width you shouldn’t have to much of an issue. Regardless, if you don’t have it already, You should put ppf on the rear hind quarters in front of the rear wheels because you’ll probably get chips. I have already gotten several before adding on the aftermarket items. I think it’s a design issue.

Opinions wanted! Method 703s (35mm) or Black Rhino Fuji (38mm)…same size tires at 285/70r17, same size rim, both matte black…just a slight difference in offset. Both look 🤩

Tires are K03 and AT4W, I think

Methods are from @Taco Bill sweet looking truck!

The poke from MT -Taco's +35 wheels looks way more pokey than the Methods and Rhinos you posted. Sure those are the same offset?

The Black Rhino Fuji wheels are +38…looks to be a pretty perfect offset. There was a video that highlighted this wheel/tire combo and it looks great! I’d probably pair it with a MT Baja Boss AT to keep everything lightweight

Same width and same offset. I agree +35 didn’t look like much poke. I found some mud and I was flying all over! The level just puts it in a better perspective, I was surprised as well, didn’t plan on the rough country flares but glad it was an option.

@MT-Taco so you removed the oem Off Road flares and put on the RC ones? How much wider are those than factory ones?
