Just wondering if anyone has come across a situation where the wiper motor makes an excessive amount of noise. I turn on the wipers and all is good for a few minutes and then the darn motor continuously makes a low pitched “groan” that becomes louder the longer they are turned on. The wife says I’m making a mountain out of a mole hill but it drives me nuts. I will definately bring it to the attention of the service department the next time I take it in but just wondering if this is happening on other units or is my wife right? Am I making too much of this? Had my TRD Sport Plus now for about 2 months and this is my only issue. Love the truck.

I have the same issue. Starts of somewhat quiet, but after several or so wipes it continues to get louder. It is annoying. I just go mine a 3 weeks ago. Next service I will bring it up

I haven't seen any wiper motor noise complaints for a while. Just wondering if the newer builds are quieter? I think today was the first time my wife drove with me in the rain. She thought the wiper motor noise was playing on the radio speakers..seriously. Now I think it's louder than when I bought the truck in April.

I totally agree! Mine is definitely louder than in April shen I got mine as well. I actually forgot to bring it to the attention of the service department when the truck was in for the first service but I surely will next time. I realize some may think this is a minor item but to some of us it is not.

I completely agree with you. We don't get much rain here in South Texas but when we did, it's the first thing i noticed. The wiper motor is soo annoyinglee sounding. I saw the video and that is exactly like what mine sounds. Very disappointed with the low quality control the 2024 had.

Haven't had to use mine in a while, but now that you bring it up, I remember thinking how loud it was.

mine doesn't sound whiny like yours, but in really really cold weather it makes a louder than normal sound for like a few wipe cycles when started and then disappears a min or two later.

The concensus from all involved was “ it’s normal”-granted it was agreed it was definitely louder than previous gens. Dollars to donuts the noise will lessen substantially as this gen gets more refined. We shall see!
