How did you power the Wolfbox mirror?

I used the cigarette lighter which is fine but have had a few intermittent power downs. @Wolfbox customer service is some of the best I've ever dealt with. They got back to me in 24 hours and sent me the obd kit to fix it. Pretty cool. Especially considering half the off-road specialty companies don't even respond to emails or calls (been trying to get ahold of dirtcom for weeks to order a part, crickets. Same deal with westcott).

The cig lighter can be loose a little, which may be the cause. We generally recommend the hardwire kit to connect to the fuse box.

Yeah the problem with cigar lighter adapters is they are required to be spring loaded to function properly and that mechanism can also push the adapter off the contacts with vibration. Especially when they are the large and bulky ones that hang out of the socket. Even more so when they're poorly designed adapters which companies often supply because they design the product and outsource the accessories.

Those sockets were designed with a completely different purpose afterall.

Has anyone hardwired the unit in? I'm curious which fuse you used. Got mine today and itching to install it.
