2024 Tacoma Tacoma posts 188% increased sales figure in March 2025 (23,949 unit sold) Screenshot_20250401-200008

  • Toyota’s redesigned mid-size truck is flying off dealer lots as sales surged 188.2% in March.
  • The Crown lineup is struggling as the sedan dropped 66.8%, and the Signia is off to a slow start.
  • RAV4 sales fell 8.4%, but a redesigned model was recently spied undergoing testing.
The redesigned Toyota Tacoma is a smashing success as sales skyrocketed a staggering 188.2% in March to 23,949 units. The good news doesn’t end there as Tacoma sales are up 177.5% through the first three months of the year.

In fact, the Tacoma’s runaway success meant it was Toyota’s third best-selling vehicle last month. It was only beaten by the RAV4 (41,509) and Camry (29,661). Surprisingly, the mid-size pickup even outsold the ever popular Corolla (21,495), which begins at $22,325.

I wonder how the market is going in the last week. I bought mine march 23rd msrp was 49.6k and I got it out the door for 47 flat. They seemed to be sitting on a handful of tacomas at multiple dealerships in my area but not sure anymore now that I’m not looking

No longer will I be admiring from afar or living vicariously thru everyone's experiences with their new trucks. (I can now admire it in my own driveway, lol). The year long wait is finally over! I picked up my PRO yesterday and just in the nick of time. Right before the 25% tariff increase which apparently goes into affect today. Our POTUS is very wishy-washy; I didn't want to chance it.

The finance mgr at the dealership thought it was an April Fools joke since I bought it yesterday. I said if it was, could you drop $1K discount and give me a *free* gift? ? I didn't get the discount but he did give me a free complimentary paint renewal cleaner kit (priced at $50).

I forgot to take pictures of it at the dealership, but I did take a couple of candid shots at rest stops on my way back into Houston from Dallas.

I really was ready to hate the PRO inserts b/c I thought the color scheme would clash with the Underground but its starting to grow on me (I kinda like it). :like:

Will post more pictures as I begin installing all these parts/ accessories that I've amassed at my parent's garage.

Tons of pros in canada that aren't selling.
I hysy got my trailhunter with a small discount in msrp. I'm finding these are marked up over msrp in canada which is rare to see. I've yet to see a pro or another th on the road.

My dealers around me all have tacomas in sitting in lot for 60+ days

TRD pros are still going over MSRP and hard to get?
The most basic priced PRO online was est. at $65,330. Mine was priced at $66,984 with minimum dealer add-ons. The one thing I really wanted was the spray-on bedliner (which I got). I didn't care for all the other bells & whistles dealers would often pack on these trucks. I was pleasantly surprised my truck came with bed scene lighting. So with taxes and all, my total drive out price was approx. $71K.
