Swapped out the massive eyesore of a tailpipe with the OEM/TRD turndown. Easy 15 minute job - 2 15mm nuts, 2 hangers, pull the old off, and install the new. I did lower my spare to the ground to make removing the old pipe easier.

The TRD turndown isn’t as pretty as the SXTH but it’s cheaper, in stock, and OEM quality.

This was probably one of the most gratifying mods I’ve done so far. Had no idea there was an OEM off-road pipe option. I’ve become a NYTOP junky for add-ons. Nice work!

barely noticeable, you have to listening hard to hear a difference.

nothing so far. This is the OEM Trailhunter setup, so it shouldn’t cause any issues.

I ordered the lexland trail pipe but its delayed. I decided to just cut the tail pipe for now. I might even paint it black.

i got one of these almost as soon as i got my truck. if there is extra noise, it's completely overshadowed by road noise and/or music playing. it's essentially negligible. what it does do is remove that eye-sore of an exhaust pipe and save a trivial amount of weight.

Where I'm stuck between is: I quickly switched to the OEM trail dump to get rid of the huge tailpipe. And generally no complaints. As mentioned, I feel like it's a touch louder but on the road I don't even notice or hear it... EXCEPT that at about 950-960rpm it triggers an awful drone that actually hurts the head. If you have ANC active, it doubles the effect making it cringe worthy. I keep wondering if adding the resonator back would negate this "sweet spot" of acoustic annoyance.

Otherwise, the LTD is incredibly quite to drive
