If you’ve bought that many vehicles from them, they must be doing something right. Sounds like they know how to treat their customers—smart way to run a business. I’d keep going back too; no reason to mess with a good thing.

I miss the HUD , but I got the Canadian mud flaps, wireless trailer camera, console safe door scuff protectors,coin holder ,hard trifold cover and bed scene lighting

hi Ray,

Have you been using your OEM wireless camera system? We’ve been unable to get our camera to wake up and power on. Tried both ways of charging it, through its USB-C port and its 12v port. That little orange light doesn’t turn on.

I took truck and camera to a Toyota dealer this morning and talked to the service supervisor. We made an appointment for them to check it out this Monday.

Thanks for any hints or horror stories you might have.

Hey Lauren01 it’s not used much my buddy at the dealership we messed with it got it paired with my phone we pulled up videos but I tried when i was out somewhere and I couldn’t get it probably something I’m doing wrong he told me to check him on a day he isn’t busy and we’ll mess with it

Thanks for the response. When I find out what’s going on I will update you. This is an important and expensive feature and we’ve got to get it working right. I was so glad not to have to buy an aftermarket wonky system and have everything built in with the monitors in the truck. Crossing fingers it’s an easy fix.

I love the way my dealer was set up for new car purchases for this reason. In the finance office, the whole back wall is glass with a door leading to a set of bays. Those bays are where your new purchase is staged with a liason waiting to walk you through initial setup, tech, features, and answer any questions with anything on the vehicle. Then your given a card for your liason specifically incase you have issues down the road (like pairing). This is not a large dealer in a major city, but not the only Toyota dealer in town. The other local dealer offers nothing like it at all, and left us to figure everything out on the wifes 24 Corolla. When the wife got in an accident, that dealer did not have on sight repairs or loaners. The dealer I bought my truck from had an offside dedicated body shop with a loaner on standby.

Point is, not all dealers are the same. They come typically in two flavors, the ones that care about initial sales and the ones that care about repeat business. Needless to say, all recommendations, service, and future purchases will go to the dealer I bought my truck from. That includes when I move to the other side of town closer to the other dealer in the future and infact, I'll never set foot on their lot again. Good service is worth traveling for, pick the dealer not the vehicle and make them bring that vehicle to you.

That’s kinda how my dealership was not only was my salesperson pretty knowledgeable but they also had someone to go through everything thing in the vehicle and help you set up your stuff

No answer yet. They also can’t get the camera on. I spoonfed them a troubleshooting table (pic attached) since they said they would ask the supervisor tomorrow when he’s in how to figure it out. Battery might need to be replaced if the fuse/s check out. Today’s service staff didn’t know if there’s even a fuse to check.
