2024 TRD sport. Does anyone have an issue with the fuel gauge not moving when full or not matching the miles to empty reading? Is there a way I can fix this myself or do I need to take it to the dealership?

Mileage seems accurate for that mpg reading. Computer overall is not the best accuracy measurement however as there is ~2.7 gallons of fuel left when it tells you you're low.

Sometimes after filling up, I drive for over 50 miles before the gauge starts move from full ( I don't top up). Coming from a 2nd gen Tundra, I'm not used to this.

I have had my truck for a year and I am used to the miles to empty calc now. It seems like it uses a set MPG value to first estimate range when you fill up. If you are getting better fuel economy after fill up it resets the calc.

So it seems overly conservative at the start and adjusts. It also doesn’t include the reserve in the estimate which I think is around 60-80 kms. For all of the hwy driving I have done I think my full to empty range is 600 kms (375 miles) or 540ish kms (335 miles) on the range estimator.

i use the range calc to figure out when I need gas not the “gauge”. It did take a bit of getting used to. But I don’t really think about it now.

I have seen it not register the added fuel after filling. I was almost thinking the float was stuck in the tank… or the digital equivalent. However, it came up after about 10 miles.
Is this consistent? If so I would take it in.

I’ve never seen that before

Honestly, I wish I could disable the “miles remaining” and just have the gauge for reference.

My '25 just started this 2 days ago. I did the "hold "ok" button while turning on ignition ..." and it reset to full as it should've read but then it stayed on full, although yhe miles to empty seemed to be clicking off as they should.
Anyone have any luck resetting this with success? I am leaving to go to Montana elk hunting in 7 days and have a "diagnostic" appt in 14 days.

My gauge doesn't loose the first bar until I've driven 80+ miles (my 2wd starts out at 407 miles dte with a full tank). After that it will loose bars quicker. I'm not pleased with any of the gauge readings. The speedometer reads 3 mph faster than I'm going for example. This is the most inaccurate set up of any vehicle I've owned. As far as the fuel indicators go, I never go below 1/2 tank anyway due to a few factors unrelated to this vehicle. But it's still annoying to have any inaccurate gauges in this day and age.
