Look at other dealers. I live in Phoenix but nearest dealer who offers 25% off is in Tucson (2hr drive). I found a dealer in California (no sales tax & free shipping). Attached price for set with price breakdown.

What? No you don't lose that at all. The new lights just need to be properly adjusted to correct height first and then will work as intended. The aim adjusting wheel just doesn't bring them up high enough first.
I have the factory 2” TRD Bilstien lift on my off-road premium. Will this work in my favor to not have to have them adjusted since they will sit 2” higher from the start?? Nice work by the way. Another quick question. Why the latest 4Runner lights and not the latest TRd Pro Tacoma lamps?

Actually you really don’t need to level them. When I went to level them we realized they weren’t actually out of spec, the levelling dial is just reversed. So 5 is the highest level while 0 is the lowest.

So as part of my build I wanted a better looking headlamp in my OR and fell in love with the 6G 4Runner TRD Pro lights with the amber DRL and dual projectors. After doing some digging I was pretty confident they would be plug and play and can now confirm they are 100% plug and play.

There is a dummy slot for the extra connector and everything mounts up in the exact same spots. You just lose the front bracket piece which I think just is an extra secure point for the fake air ducts.

Edited: You don’t have to have the lights leveled like I previously thought. The manual adjuster is just reversed on the 4Runner lamps so when I only had one installed it sat lower than the OEM lens as at 0 the OEM lens is at its highest while the 4Runner lamp is at its lowest. Once I put the second lamp in I actually prefer it this way. Having the higher number be the highest light level setting makes more sense to me.

I’m sure there are videos out there, but did you have to take off the front end to do this? I’ll have to do it anyway to do the fogs once I install them…..

Yes the front bumper needs to come off. Aside from the bolts in the top of the lamp there is a plastic mounting bracket on the outer edges that has a bolt in it that needs to come out to release the lamp. Just be careful as once the bolt comes out the mounting bracket sits there loosely and when reinstalling the new lamp it needs to be put in the right spot for everything to align correctly. It’s easiest to use the plastic tabs on the top of the lamp to place those in the correct spot(there is a slight bump where the bolt threads in allowing them to kind of grip into place) and wiggle that side tab back in place and it should be able to just rest in there while you reinstall the bolts.

Glad I got em. I was eying the alfarex units but I like staying OEM when possible. Like the TRD intake, the red OEM tow hooks, TRD exhaust etc.

@JayTech when you get a moment … can you post some clips of signals, low/high beams, drive-by? Thanks in advance!

Just got my 2026 TRD OR and I'm loving this headlight swap. Judging by your pictures, would the DRLs turn on with just foglights? At least for my 2026, the fogs can turn on with DRLs without the low beams.

I dont believe the fog lights change with the swap and operate as they did before. I bought mine just after this post hit. Ive yet to put them on though. I wanna do the headlights, new fogs, and Pro grill all together so I only have to pull the front end once. I still have to buy the grill. As far as Im aware, the only thing that changes is the light adjustment as explained in the thread.
