Are the bed steps OEM or aftermarket? I've noticed some subtle differences in the design-specifically in the rubber step and its angle. SXTH Element only supplied the bracket, so I don't believe they're the issue. I'm pretty sure the problem lies with the rubber steps themselves.
$58 aftermarket. I share your suspicion. Will see what SXTH says. I can trim the step a few millimeters if they say it’s on me. I’m not out to screw anyone.

I was looking for a better mount for my Cobb Accessport and came across Tackform, who builds some really great mounts for phones and tablets, etc. I worked with them closely to configure something that works perfectly with the backing plate that is included with the Accessport and mounts it securely above the push-button start. If you don't have an Accessport, you can use the same base as a phone mount and they even have a MagSafe option.

Got a couple of interior goodies via Amazon today:

Cupholders that mount near the edge of each end of the dashboard. They have a removable liner for cleaning. Expensive but appear worth it; they ought to be bought out by Toyota to go OEM.

A little holder meant for a chunky key fob. Got it to keep my gate key to our sliding fence/driveway on the alley. This lets me stow my regular key ring, eliminating the step of fiddling with it to get it and then to put it away after closing the gate. There’s enough room left in the holder for three sticks of Fruit Stripe gum.

IMO the fob holder isn’t the most attractive thing in the world, but it’s doing the job and it’s not where I can easily see it. I saw a cheaper one available for a dollar less, but had reviewer complaints.

Yota Xpedition will probably come out with one for $50 with topo, but I am not going to buy no no no I promise you I won’t. (Fingers crossed behind my back.)

I got some pre-production charge pipes from SXTH Element and installed them yesterday. Fitment is perfect, and it only took about 20-30 mins.

As of yesterday, they're available for pre-order with late May shipment estimate:

SXTH Element Charge pipe pre order - 15% off

Another interior installation: Z-Precision cupholder to replace the stock front cupholder.

Some 40-oz water bottles fit tightly but a 36 would fit best. Gift from my dear wife months ago.

Here is a picture with the Z-Precision unit installed, next to the removed stock unit placed on the passenger seat for comparison. The stock trim ring is not reused. Trim on the Z is part of the unit. It could be wrapped or painted if one were wanting as OEM looking as possible. The Z looks better to me as is. AJT makes a replacement cupholder too, with colorful trim ring options.

I had a little extra work to do to remove my right side DV8 center console MOLLE and safe. Took less than an hour since I had staged tools in the back seat the day before.

Wife bought this directly from Z but the unit is also available on Amazon and other Tacoma money suckers. This page has a link to the installation instructions, which are excellent.

Happy Modding!

With the amount of posts I've seen about the bracket being out of tolerance and them replacing it without asking for the old one back, I'd gamble on getting the right bracket
