People who scoff at the subscription aren’t realizing that the app features rely on 4G connectivity. Toyota isn’t going to pay AT&T for that in perpetuity
Agree on chemical guys being overpriced. Not to say they’re bad but it’s a lot of marketing. I recommend Griots for a great, reasonably priced brand. CarPro if you really want to up your game.
Waiting for the rain to quit so I can give mine its first hand wash. I got it ceramic coated soon after buying but it’s only been sprayed off in a wash bay until now. I bought it in October. Can’t wait to foam it up and get the mit on it.
The real question is..where can the rest of us buy these QS3s for our non-Pro trucks? Assuming Toyota doesn’t sell the parts unless you have a Pro VIN?
I recently put the TRD exhaust on mine and that really helped balance out the sound. Prior to it there was just zero exhaust noise and so all you heard was the injector rattle at times. Now it’s got a throaty tone under load that counteracts a lot of the engine noise. But yeah, going for the...
D4S Injectors are loud. Running premium fuel reduces this noise. Also, not all trim levels come with the hood insulation. This helps cut down on the noise pinging around the engine bay. I plan on adding that to mine soon.
I have a non-hybrid and haven’t experienced this issue. Stay on the dealer. Possibly a recall to come and/or at the very least a TSB once they determine the cause.
It really does add a nice deep sound without being loud. I was a bit apprehensive as I’m no longer a kid and didn’t want to “rice” out the truck with a tacky, loud exhaust but It checks all the right boxes. Definitely the OEM+ vibe I’m going for with my truck. I was so disappointed with the lack...
The difference you’re likely feeling is the acoustic glass in the limited. The TRD OR premiums have it as well. There could be more NVH they add to the limited that I’m not aware of but as a TRD OR owner without the acoustic glass I’m happy with mine. I came from a 2020 3 series and this is...
All ICE vehicles will have slight vibrations in their drivetrain. However, there is nothing out of the ordinary with mine. Either your tolerance for this is very low, or your truck needs another dealer
It’s gotta be a placebo but I feel like losing that huge resonator has added a little bit more low and mid range power. Engine seems to enjoy the reduced back pressure. That’s what I tell myself anyways.
