Hey everyone! I have been working on a little side project for these 2.4L I-Force max engines, this was actually part of my capstone project for my engineering degree as I am utilizing SLS Stainless 316L additive manufacturing to create the turbo manifold for this truck! This is still a work in progress as I am working to get an adapter piece made to fit the stock downpipe into the 3" outlet of the G25 turbo I will be putting on. For now I just made a dp with a high flow Gesi cat which is still EPA approved and wont throw a CEL!

I also got this setup to work with the stock vacuum actuated wastegate so boost control is still managed by the stock ECU and got it tuned with a Cobb accessport, so far with no issues, just battling out some torque limiters.

Just wanted to throw this out there and see if there is maybe some market to actually produce and sell these kits!

Dont mind my open intake, I needed to test the MAF calibration with a larger diameter tube!

For the dummies in the back (definitely not me), explain what you are doing here as if you're talking to a caveman.
Can do:

Stock Taco have little whistle boy. Little whistle boy make small whistle noises. Whistle noises needed to go fast, much vroom. OP making part to put big whistle boy in Taco. Big whistle boy make much bigger whistle noises. Which means Taco go extra fast, extra vroom vroom. If OP gets enough caveman want extra vroom, he make kit so caveman can vroom vroom too.

There is another company making a turbo kit, with an oem style upgraded turbo. This kit looks to use a much more universal turbo, which could mean more variety at a less (but still) expensive price point. Being able to bolt on a big ol' hog from Garrett rather than an oem style upgrade is how you make big power numbers. Rather than being limited to the 500hp theoretical number that the current, and only aftermarket option available, a more universal kit makes the block the only limit. Aka, you could be in for a real good time....for a real short time.
