2025 Lumbar / Seat issue

Has anyone had issues with the driver side lumbar support clicking and making noises when you sit back. It’s driving me nuts. 1500 miles on the truck- I love it but man this seat issue needs a fix. Thoughts?

I have this issue. My seat back also pops/clicks when I brake or turn as if something is moving around in the seat. It is incredibly annoying.

I had a similar issue and brought it up to the dealer service guy while I was there. In my case, the headrest posts were moving around when I leaned back… he pushed it in further til it clicked and raised it till it clicked into place. In either place the noise stopped. I had it in-between “clicks”. YMMV.

Unfortunately for my issue I can feel something hitting me in the middle of my back within the seat so I doubt it is my headrest but will double check it.

I’ve been battling this for a while on my 2024. They got a new support bracket, the tech let the seat fall on the new bracket and broke it.

I went in again and they had my truck for 2 weeks to try fixing the issue with an engineers help and got nowhere. I waited 5k till my 10k service and their “fix” was wrapping parts in felt to stop it from creaking. Same day, still creaks.

My question is, at what point does one get a new seat? The master tech is there and wants to dig into it but honestly give me a new seat and keep the bad one to figure out what’s wrong so I don’t have to keep going back.

Sounds like a new seat could be kicking the can down the road unless they redesign some of the parts unfortunately. I would reach out to Toyota corporate and let them know you are unhappy with how it has been fixed. They are usually responsive.

Yeah that’s a good point and my service guy has said a similar thing. I left them a voicemail and will see what they want to do. I think I read a “fix” somewhere else online I might suggest to them.

Calling corporate is definitely a good idea too!
