285/70/17 tires with or without lift?

Have you happened to try fitting one in the spare tire mount underneath?

America's Tire stuck my 5th full size spare underneath, but scratched up my new rim in the process. They're replacing the rim free of charge, but a 285/70/17 KO3 on a Method 705 will fit under there. I don't want mine under there, will be making a mount for the bed, since the clearance suffers.

Anyone have any photos or experience with putting 285-70-17 tires on stock without rubbing? I’m looking at getting this size in Falken Wildpeaks and debating on if the Westcott lift will help make the truck look more proportionate or if it’s not needed and the size is a good looks wise and fitment wise. Any opinions on running this size tires with or without a lift would be appreciated.

Also does anyone know the offset that the stock wheels are?

these trucks are made to fit 35s. You will be okay.

Wow. Yea, that kinda sucks. Glad my spare wheel is a cheap tundra 18” wheel.
