Not mine, but saw these beefy 285/75/17 BFG TA KO Tires on 2024 Tacoma TRD Off-Road. These are same tires from Ford Raptor.

Not the same as the raptor as those are 35 (315s) these are essentially 34s. But same tires I ran on my last truck. Wonder if it rubs because this is exactly what I want to get into

Iā€™m still waiting on my OR premium to get off QC hold, but Iā€™m planning on putting 35 12.50ā€™s on it as soon as I get it. I just need to find a 3ā€ lift to make it look right. The only lift that I could find out right now is the preload collars from westcott designs. Not ideal, but itā€™ll work temporarily.

285/75 will probably fit without rubbing, because I'm running 285/70's and there's at least 2" of clearance in the tightest spots. Without a lift though, I think 285/75's are a bit too large looking for the wheel wells.

I agree. Wonder how positive methods would do. Thatā€™s my only worry on that with a 34 on stock height. Been kinda waiting for this moment. Second is the weight. Would just run a C ply 33 instead of an e ply 34. Really wasnā€™t to bad on the 3rd gen. Truck was tuned on 91 though / intake and exhaust. So helped compensate lost power

I have not seen a single photo of a '24 Tacoma with aftermarket wheels where nearly half of the tire wasn't poking out of the fenders. It will likely take a positive wheel offset to avoid that, but until someone figures out the numbers, I'll run the stock wheels.

My understanding is factory wheel is 6-139.7 60ET 95.1CB M14x1.50 studs or same as 3rd Gen Tundra specs. 3rd gen Tacoma Sport had 6.139.7 30ET 106.1 CB and M12x1.50 studs.
I could be mistaken I've been scouring the boards trying to get 100% confirmation since launch..
Finding positive offset anywhere near the factory 60mm is tricky especially in 95.1 hub. I've saved several wheels that are 20m to 35mm offset but even those will have 1 - 1.5" of poke compared to factory.
Seems Toyota has chosen a unique mix of wheel specs for the newer generation trucks.

I prefer the added sidewall with the 17s.

What do you mean?
The KO was released in the 70s, the KO2 about a decade ago, and the KO3 is slowly being released now.

The KO3 has about a decade's worth of improvements over the KO2, primarily in dealing with water and snow. As expected: it's still pretty bad in mud.

Is this stock height with no spacer?
