315 70R 17 with 0 Offset wheel

Hello all,
I am a new member, got my very first Tacoma (TRD Sport+ Manual) about 2 weeks ago. Nice to meet all of you.

I plan on building up my truck, and I stumbled across an ad on Facebook. A person is selling a 315/70R17 tire with 17x9 wheels with 0 offset for a reasonable price.

I searched the form here, but it doesn't look like it is the most popular setup for Gen 4 Tacomas.

Is anyone running this setup? How much trimming/alteration will be required to fit this on stock suspension?

Or do I need to add a lift kit to accommodate this size of a tire?

Quite of few people run zero offsets. I’m running 285/70/17. 315/70/17 will rub in the front but very slightly. You will need to remove the front fender felt and either push it up and or trim the felt off. Good news is it only rubs on the felt liner and not the plastic bumper.

It's great to hear that I don't have to do any major alterations. Sounds like just cut a bit of felt liner!
I assume that I would need to remove the crash pads towards the cabin on both sides of the front? And we are talking about the stock height without any lift kits, right?

This is zero offset. Expect about 1.7 to 2 inches from the offroad fenders depending on tires (more aggressive treads will be even more poke). Mine is 285/70/17 on trd off-road hybrid stock suspension no lift at all. From what I’m reading the hybrid trucks are slightly more lifted than standard turbo engines due to the extra weight. I didn’t remove the crash plate and this is the reason I went with 285 size instead of 315. I’m not sure but you may need to remove the plate.

It is an aftermarket wheels, and it seems the manufacturer sells the specific hub centric rings for the applications.
