they look very good - I heard the LT version of that tire is super loud on the highway - is that true, kinda true, or bullshit

So I’ve had a Tacoma with KO2s in E, a 4Runner with Wildpeak AT3s and now these Toyos in C. On the highway over 100km/h they’re noticeable but under 90km/h they’re fine.
The KO2s were fine but sucked in the rain and slipped a lot in snow and ice compared to the other two.
The Wildpeaks were awesome in the snow and rain but there was a noticeable lack of acceleration and a significant drop in mileage (3.5L/100km).
The Toyos have been really good so far. Just came back from a ski trip and one descent down a very snowy, very slick road down from Mt. Washington left me feeling quite good about them. 3-4 other trucks were being towed up the same hills we were passing and we had not a single issue. No slip at all. They’ve also been great in the rain. No complaints. Cheaper, lighter and performing just as well as the Falkens.

I added a 3/4” Greenlane Offroad Level kit just for the looks and I love it. I’m adding some head on photos. The poke is perfect with the way it’s framed by the wheel well. The 701s are overkill imo.

great setup you have!! I'm very inspired. You posted this in March 2024. Almost a year now. Can you still testify that you have no rubbing at all to this day? After a year, do you recommend getting a 1.5" leveling kit for the front wheels? Did you do any lifts in the past year? You still good with no leveling kit or lift? what tires did you end up going with? with stock suspension? no lift or leveling kit? -I'm looking at the 703's also, with the +35mm offset.
About to go get my 703s in bronze on wildpeaks at3w 285/70/17 installed on my Mudbath taco. Hope they don’t rub (but from what I’m reading I should be fine)

Got blue because of the price and came to love it, but this is what I envisioned when I wanted a 4th gen.I have 285/70/17 AT4w in load range SL, on method 703’s, no mods to suspension, no rubbing. You’ll be fine, lots of room for this size. Next time I’ll probably go to a 34 inch, if I can find it in a decent SL
@PNWkip thanks man! Black was definitely not my first pick, but I’m ok with it. Color availability in Canada is quite limited and locked to certain trims for some reason…like no silver metallic on the OR hybrid (what I wanted but it didn’t exist). Of the colors available, blueprint metallic was my first choice, but none available anywhere. Really wish Toyota had (better quality paint) more colors that are metallic !!

Thanks. Initially, I was also contemplating getting the black ones, but then I noticed the bronze ones, and I felt compelled to get them.
