Has anyone experienced issues with their ac having moisture/condensation build up in the 2 main vents below screen? Just happens when ac is either on low or high. I already checked the drain hose and pipe all cleared

So you're seeing condensation in your actual vents that are beside the infotainment screen?

Either you're the first I've seen with that issue or it's just really hot where you are.

Yes. I just got my 2025 last week. I felt a drop on my foot while driving with sandals. Checked all the vents and sure enough condensation on all of them. I didn’t even have the ac button clicked on. The air blows so cold even when set at 70 degrees. I’m honestly concerned it might be always on or something idk. I didn’t feel the need to look into it honestly. Better blowing cold than warm if. Also I live in Michigan and it doesn’t get much passed 85. Obviously warmer when baking in the sun

That would be condensation. Had it last week in MN when it was hot. Normal on hot days.

Make sure your cabin filter isn't too dirty? Low air flow can cause the condenser to freeze over?

Yes this happened to me this weekend. I’ve had my truck since April and this is the first time I notice it. Some say it’s normal or too hot where I’m at. I’ve taken my truck to Las Vegas where it was 109 degrees and this didn’t happen. I also have a 2008 Honda civic and this has never happened. I am also concerned

I have the same issues. It was 80-90 degrees where I’m at. Does this only happen to 4th gen Tacomas? I have an old 2008 civic and this has never happened. I took my Tacoma to Vegas where it was 109 degrees and it didn’t happen.

You're right about it blowing cold even without the A/C button engaged. I think when you use the Auto mode, the A/C is engaged but it does not turn on the A/C light. Just another stupid choice by Toyota if you ask me. RE: the original post, I suspect that the vents are getting wet when it's warm but not TOO hot yet the humidity is high. Here in central TX it's much hotter but drier than what you guys are reporting, and I have not noticed any condensation (same as the Las Vegas guy).

bad news that water dripping on your foot is from the evaporation tray that is directly above the gas petal , It is a Known issue there is thread on here about it .
it is a black plastic tray that looks like a waffle from the bottom looking up , they crack & leak water down on the drivers foot

I hope not lol. If it is I’ll wait until next summer to get it fixed because it’s starting to get cold out now anyway and I just got the truck I don’t wanna put it in the shop already tbh. I haven’t seen or felt any more drips. Just the one time on a hot day after baking in the sun. I read about that issue. Maybe I didn’t read far enough but I didn’t see anything about any 2025 being affected only 24s and possibly only 24s with a certain vin as well. I’ll have to research more I guess

update! I took it in for the brake line recall and also had it inspected. tech stated " that it has been a bit hot and humid in socal that's its normal." also check drain line, hoses and leaks everything looked fine.

personally myself a bit concerning for a brand new vehicle. my daily bucket doesn't even do that.
