Title pretty much says it. Just took delivery on a 2025 and I'm going to utilize the little insets on the bedsides install a couple of boards from side to side and then put some plywood on top of that. Basically just to give me two levels of storage, one of which is out of sight and mostly out of the weather.
I've done something similar in the past and installed outdoor carpet to cover the plywood surface And to provide a relatively soft surface to place things on that I don't want getting scratched up by the bed itself.
Curious as to other options anyone may have used?
Again, looking for something kind of soft. Otherwise I would just get a decent grade of exterior plywood and paint it
Thanks in advance

You can order sheets of BedRug. That stuff is amazing can withstand years of outdoor use $
& abuse.

Straight phenolic sealed plywood I like marine grade WISA Hex Ultralight

Bedrug! Great suggestion. Totally forgot about it, last used it probably 25 years ago. Thanks!
